Mrs. Eva Mae Roberts Coon passed from this life at Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi on Wednesday, December 18, 2024. She was born in Pike County Mississippi to Clarence and Mary M. Hightower Boyd.

Mrs. Coon was preceded in death by her husbands, John Ralph Guy and Garfield Roberts, as well as by 10 brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her husband, Earnest L. Coon; her children Jerry Wade Guy and Judie McDaniel and their spouses; three grandchildren; three-great-grandchildren; a brother, Emory Boyd; a step-daughter, Margaret Schwartz; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Private memorial services will be held at a later date. Catchings-Sharkey Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
