Elizabeth "Betty" Fox Walker, of McComb, passed away, Friday, March 24, 2017 at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born May 16, 1929 in Jackson, MS. She was the daughter of Ewell Dee and Mallie Aljean Fox Martindale. She was an active member of J.J. White Memorial Presbyterian Church participating in numerous church activities. She was a retired preschool teacher having served as Mississippi State University director of infant and toddler center. She is preceded in death by her parents and her only brother, James Dewitt Martindale. She is survived by her children and spouses, William E. and Vivian M. Walker of Nashua, NH, Kelly Henley of Smithdale, James Allen and Kelly B. Walker of Aledo, TX and Cheryl Ann and Randy Freeman of Natchez; ten grandchildren, Melisa DeCoux and husband, Andrew, Jennifer Erler and husband, Hank, Sara Beth Williams, Jaime Walker, Megan Walker, Suisan Walker, Carli McClure, Keegan Walker , Gavin Walker and Quinn Walker; seven great-grandchildren, Alex Erler, Gracie Seener, Austin Erler, Henry Williams, Hayden Williams , Axton Erler and Reagan Roberts and numerous special friends and extended family. Memorial services will be held Sunday at J.J. White Memorial Presbyterian Church at 6:00PM with Rev. Bob Phelps officiating. Graveside services will Monday at 12noon at Memorial Park Gardens in Starkville, MS under the direction of Sharkey Funeral Home in Summit.
