Edward Lawrence, 88, of Kentwood, LA, passed away, Friday, March 8, 2019 at St. Helena Parish Nursing Home.

He was born October 20, 1930 in McComb, MS.  He was the son of the late Cecil and Annie Lee Merritt Lawrence.

He is a retired dairyman and heavy equipment operator.

He is preceded in death by his parents, sister, Cecile Bledsoe and brother-in-law, Chuck Bledsoe.

He is survived by a nephew, Rick Bledsoe, numerous cousins and close friends. Special caregivers and friends, Harold W. and Viola Harter.

Visitation is Wednesday at Sharkey Funeral Home 1023 Old Brookhaven Road, Summit, MS 39666 from 10AM until services at 11AM with Bro. William Edwards officiating.  Burial will be in Roberts Cemetery, Hwy. 38 East, Kentwood, LA at 12:30PM.
