Mr. Wayne King, 74, passed from this life on Sunday, October 24, 2021, at his residence with his loving family by his side. He was born on March 14, 1947 in Dover, DE, to Ray King and Ruth Myers King.

He enjoyed spending time at his camp on the Homochitto River. He was an avid Nascar fan always pulling for an Earnhardt. You could always find him with his puppy in his lap relaxing in his recliner. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.

Preceding him in death were his parents and one son-in-law, Vince Liberto.

Survivors are his loving and patient wife Peggy King of 38 years; three daughters, Robyn Williams, Tracey Liberto, and Shelly Scott; one favorite son, Lance Senner (Kristie); eleven grandchildren, Bailee Dean (Michael), Tyler Mcintyre, Tyrell King, Briana King, Dominic Liberto, Victoria Liberto, Gracie Senner, Addie Scott, Aubree Scott, Lance Michael Senner II, Kristian Senner; 8 great grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.

Pallbearers are James Scott, Carlos Gunnell, Ricky Sykes, Michael Dean, Chester Macon, Kenny Carrier

Honorary pallbearers are Craig Mcintyre and John Pierce.

A visitation will be on Wednesday, October 27, 2021, at Sharkey Funeral Home in Summit, MS from 5:00 PM-8:00 PM, continuing Thursday October 28, 2021 from 1:00 PM until time of service at 2:00 PM. A graveside service will follow in the Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Smithdale, MS. Rev. Eric Moak will be officiating the services, with Sharkey Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Compassus Home Health Care Service.
