Dorris Lafay Chapman's Obituary
Dorris Lafay Chapman, 93 of Columbus, MS and formerly of McComb, passed away Saturday, December 8, 2018 at her residence.
She was born March 12, 1925 in Pike County, MS. She was the daughter of Thomas and Lela Haynes Beard.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Leston Chapman and two sons,Allen Chapman and Jerry Chapman.
She is survived by her daughter, Dorothea Fay Foster of Columbus, her son, George EdwardChapman, eight grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.
Graveside services are Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at 11 A M in Hollywood Cemetery with Dr. David Millican officiating. Sharkey Funeral Home in Summit is in charge of arrangements.
