Dorothy "Dot" Coney Morgan

Dorothy Morgan passed away peacefully on Monday, August 26, 2024 at the age of 81 surrounded by her loved ones at her residence.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 62 years, Charles Morgan. Loving Mother of David Morgan (Brenda) and the late Pamela "Pam" Morgan Kippers. Dorothy was born on July 8, 1943 in Mississippi, to the late Alton and Rachel Coney. Sister to Butch Coney and the late Marty Hodges. Dedicated grandmother "Me-Me" of Timothy Kippers (Shantell), Jason Kippers (Carla), Ashley Morgan (Devin), Hayley Morgan, and Brooke Morgan. Proud great-grandmother of nine great-grandchildren. Dorothy was a resident of Metairie, LA for the past 56 years. She had a motherly spirit and dedicated her life to spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Visitation at Sharkey Funeral Home in Summit, MS on Saturday, August 31, 2024 from 10:00 a.m.  until service at 11:00 am. Burial will follow in McComb at Barron Bethany Cemetery
