April 4, 1951 – May 22, 2020
Dee Ann Meloncon Orgeron, age 69, born April 4, 1951, she was predeceased by her parents, Edward "Bundle Boy" Joseph Meloncon (1973), and Emelie Stafford Meloncon (2009), and her sister, Gail Ann Meloncon Rome (1987). Unexpectedly, Dee entered into eternal rest on, Friday, May 22, 2020, as the trumpets sounded to welcome Dee into the arms of the Almighty Lord, Jesus Christ.
A native of New Orleans, Louisiana, residing in, Magnolia, Mississippi, with her beloved husband, Stephen "Steve" Orgeron, married for 50 years. Dee will be fondly remembered by her children, London and Christopher "Chris" Orgeron. She is survived by her Grandchildren, Cameron Lannes, Colleen McGee, BaileyDee and MaileyMiaicale Fletcher, Nevaeh Lombas, Naicen Freeman, and Aniyah Orgeron; Great-grandchildren, Caylee and Charlotte McGee, and baby Dayton.
Dee was an active church member at, St. Paul the Apostle Mission, Tylertown, Mississippi. She will be greatly remembered for her love towards her family, daily rosary, vegetable gardening, watching her hummingbirds, and her excitement of providing religious Christmas gifts. The highlight of her life was traveling to Medjugorge and Rome, with kissing the Pope's ring. Dee rest in peace, with Jesus and his blessed mother Mary. Dee your mission is completed, you have arrived home.
A private ceremony will be held on Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at 1PM at Westlawn Cemetery in Gretna, LA with Father Ray Hymel officiating and Sharkey Funeral Home in charge of arrangements, in lieu of flowers, masses are preferred.
