Mrs. Deborah L. Kemp, 62, of McComb, MS, passed from this life on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at her residence.

Mrs. Deborah was born in McComb, MS on November 25, 1959 and was the daughter of Jerry "Bucky" Walter and Frances Nimon Dunaway. She was a member at Central Baptist Church where she was very active and loved serving the Lord. She loved to travel around with her husband, visiting many different little towns and trying different restaurants. Her husband built her a little deer stand that turned into her little "She Shed" that she would go and read her books. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her father; and one brother, Bucky Dunaway, and one step-grandson, Connor Kemp.

She is survived by her loving husband of 19 wonderful years, Charles Glen Kemp of McComb, MS; her mother, Frances Nimon Dunaway of McComb, MS; two step-sons, James Kemp and Katrina of Foxworth, MS, and Jason Kemp and Brittany of Lafayette, LA; three step-grandchildren, Sydney Kemp, Nathan Kemp, and Mikelle Perkins, and a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 10, 2022 from 10AM until time of service at 11AM at Central Baptist Church in McComb, MS with Bro. Robert Netterville, Bro. Everette Broom, and Dr. David Millican officiating and Sharkey Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. A burial will follow in the Hollywood Cemetery in McComb, MS.

Pallbearers will be Tony Broom, James Carruth, Mack Harrington, Joey Harrington, James Kemp, and Nathan Kemp. Honorary Pallbearers will be Danny Harrell, James Andrews, Samuel Williams, and Billy Boyd.
