Mr. David Wayne Topper, age 60, of McComb, Mississippi, passed away on April 25, 2024, at Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center. He was born on June 24, 1963, in Winfield, Kansas, to Leroy and Carol Johnson Topper.

David was a dedicated mechanic, having worked for Howell Motors and Delaware Motors as a Service Manager for Rainbow Automotive and General Manager at East McComb Body Shop.

He is survived by his loving Wife, Claudia Topper; his three Children, Carolyn Holmes, Jacob Topper, Ethan Topper; his Son-in-law, Joshua Holmes; his Granddaughter, Ellaina Topper; two Grandsons, Benjamin Holmes, Topper Holmes; two Brothers, Jim Topper (Mary), Duane Froman (Susan); one Sister, Sharon Calvert; and a special Brother-in-law, Dale LauRich. David was also cherished by his future daughter-in-law, Alayna Moak; Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, and In-laws. David was well loved by many life-long friends that get loved in return.

David's Father, Leroy Topper; Mother, Carol Johnson Topper; Mother, Marie Topper; two Sisters, Cindy Moore, Cathy Watson, and one Grandchild, Shiloh Holmes preceded him in death.

In his free time, David enjoyed gardening, building car models, discussing spirituality and asking those hard questions that really made one think. He also freely shared his faith, spent quality time with his family, and loved sharing laughter with those around him.

A service to honor and remember David will be held at Trinity United Church in McComb, Mississippi. Visitation begins at 10:00 AM, Monday, April 29, 2024, and the Funeral Service at 12:00 PM. Rev. Jeffrey Conn will officiate. A Graveside Service will follow at Trinity United Church Cemetery in McComb.

Pallbearers are Dale LauRich II, Cody Froman, Nicholas Roberts, Ian Smith, Jody Smith, and Christopher Romack. Honorary Pallbearers are Jacob Topper, Ethan Topper, Joshua Holmes, Duane Froman, Dale LauRich I, Kenny Cantrell, and Robbie Stewart.
