Mr. David Ladelle Pickard, 65, of McComb, MS went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at his residence, surrounded by his family.

Mr. David was born in McComb, MS on December 12, 1956 and was the son of Clifford Ladelle Pickard and Lillian Lanelle Pine Pickard. He loved his life living for the Lord and was a member of Faith Assembly of God McComb where he served as a deacon and also helped with the Media department. He loved his family and cherished the time he spent with them. He was an avid HAM Radio operator (NM5Z) and spoke with many people in countries all over the world. He was able to talk to just about anyone and never met a stranger. He owned and operated Dave's Computers for many years. Despite many hardships, he lived a full life. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his father and grandparents.

He is survived by his mother, Lillian Lanelle Pine Pickard of McComb, MS; one brother, Terry Pickard and Melanie of Summit, MS; one sister, Charlotte Williams of Magnolia, MS; two nephews, Jason Williams and Tonia, and Saul Pickard and Morgan; five nieces, Heather Fortenberry and Lee, Breanna Burris and Scott, Hannah Cox and Koty, Abigail Pickard, and Bethany Pickard; three great-nephews, Colby Fortenberry, Caden Williams, and Reeves Pickard; one great-niece, Keely Fortenberry,  and a host of other family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Saul Pickard, Koty Cox, Jason Williams, Lee Fortenberry, Colby Fortenberry, and Scott Burris. Honorary pallbearers are his too many to name HAM Radio friends.

A visitation will be held on Monday, January 17, 2022 from 11AM until time of service at 2PM at Faith Assembly of God McComb with Pastor Jan Stewart officiating and Sharkey Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. A burial will follow in the Pike Memorial Gardens Cemetery in McComb, MS.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to David's many caregivers for their love and care throughout the years.
