Mr. David Leroy Dragg passed from this life on Saturday December 30, 2023, at his residence in Mississippi where he resided with his daughter Brandy Blackwell and her husband Brandon. He was born on January 30th 1952 in Bogalusa, Louisiana, to Essie and Eddie Dragg.

He enjoyed fishing, cooking and spending time with family and friends. He was always willing to help anyone who needed it.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Essie Mitchell and stepfather, Malcolm Mitchell; son, baby Dragg, sisters, Louise Hall and Dollie Corkern and brothers, Eddie Dragg, Jr. and William Dragg.

Survivors are his sisters, Grace Jones and Wilma Jones daughters, Brandy Blackwell and her husband Brandon Blackwell of Smithdale, MS and Misty Blackwell of Tylertown, MS., seven grandchildren, Ryan Church, Zach Blackwell, Matthew Blackwell, Caitlyn Sinclair, Cynthia Royal, Victoria Anderson and Gerald Blackwell Jr., 16 great grandchildren and a host of family friends.

The family will hold a memorial service for family and close friends at a later date.
