Mr. Daniel David Guidroz, 43, of McComb, MS, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 23, 2021 at Merit Health Wesley in Hattiesburg, MS.

Daniel was born in Raceland, LA, on January 31, 1978 and was the son of Troy Mark Guidroz and Reine Neucere Mahan. He was Special Needs but gave special joy and always sensed the needs of others. He wasn't supposed to live after the age of 10, but the Lord blessed us with 33 more years with him, and we are grateful. He loved Dinosaurs, wooden toys and books. He enjoyed music, and was always singing, and also loved to dance. He loved to spend time with his family, especially his brothers and sisters who loved him dearly. His favorite time of year was Thanksgiving because he loved the food.  He was in several Special Olympics events and the Favorite Few with Mrs. Mattie, and was a part of Camp Sunshine for many years. We will all miss him and the world will be a little dimmer now that he is gone.

He is preceded in death by his father, Troy Mark Guidroz; one cousin, T-Will Guidroz, and one nephew, T. J. McClesky.

He is survived by his mother, Judy Guillot of McComb, MS; three brothers, Willie Guidroz and Linda of McComb, MS, Kip Rodriguez and Claire of Texarkana, TX, and Gary Rodriguez and Kelly of Baton Rouge, LA; five sisters, Lydia Guidroz of Larose, LA, Missy Guidroz of Larose, LA, Vickie Rodriguez of Gloster, MS, Doreine Guidroz Hernandez and Pete of McComb, MS, and Denise Rowe and Brandon of Summit, MS, and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Pallbearers will be Willie Guidroz, Kip Rodriguez, Gary Rodriguez, Pete Hernandez, Blane Roussell, Blake Roussell, Joey Rodriguez, and Brandon Rowe.

A visitation will be held on Friday, October 1, 2021 from 6PM until 9PM and continue on Saturday, October 2, 2021 from 8AM until time of service at 10AM at Sharkey Funeral Home in Summit, MS, with Bro. Jim Dalton officiating. A burial will follow in Hollywood Cemetery in McComb, MS.
