Daniel Martin Alexander, Sr, 96 of Summit, passed away Monday, April 8, 2024. He was born Saturday, January 14, 1928 in Pricedale, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 12, 2024 from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm at Calvary Baptist Church in Pricedale. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 12, 2024 at 12:00 pm at Calvary Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro J. R. McBeth will officiate. Special music will be provided by Kristen McBeth, and military taps will be provided by Richard Atwater.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Kathrine Boyd Alexander; his second wife, Myrtle Alexander; his daughter, Kathy Olivier; three brothers, Junior Alexander, Carl Alexander and Lucius Alexander; and one sister, Wilma Dunaway.

Survivors include his son, Daniel "Marty" Alexander, Jr. of Summit; one daughter-in-law, Lesa Cook; one son-in-law, Nolan Olivier; three grandchildren, Justin Olivier, Amanda Millaudon (David), Daniel "Mark" Alexander, III (Lindsey); sixteen great grandchildren; and seven great-great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Justin Olivier, Daniel "Mark" Alexander, III, Aiden Alexander, Gabe Alexander, Ray Morgan, and David Millaudon. Honorary pallbearers will be Tommy Boyd, Delane Edwards, Billy Boyd, Bobby Boyd, and Nolan Olivier.
