Connie Jones Thilges, 75, passed away on October 5, 2021, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She was a native of McComb, Mississippi and a resident of Denham Springs, Louisiana. Connie is survived by her two daughters, Lisa Miles and husband Scott Miles, Jennifer Lalonde and family friend Todd Lalonde; as well as four grandchildren, Garrett Miles, Morgan Miles, Luke Miles, and Blake Lalonde and his wife Kristen Hodges Lalonde – all of whom she loved dearly. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Andrew Jones and Annie Boyd Jones; husband of 20 years, Allen Walker; husband of 27 years, John Thilges; sister, Elizabeth Anne Penrith-Holmes; and brother, Charles Wayne Jones.

Connie was a devoted member of Hebron Baptist Church in Denham Springs. She worked at the Louisiana State Police for 28 years. Upon retirement, she dedicated time to her church's women's  ministries, making quilts for loved ones, and attending Bible studies.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 9 at Hebron Baptist Church in Denham Springs from 9-11 a.m. The funeral service will follow visitation, starting at 11 a.m. at Hebron with Dr. Mark Tolbert officiating. Donations in Connie's honor can be made to The American Lung Association.

The family of Connie wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Dr. Daniel LaVie, Dr. Oscar Shoenfelt, and the numerous nurses and staff that cared for Connie during her hospital stay.
