Cody "Bear" Doyle Gallagher was born on March 14, 2003 to David and Carla Gallagher of Summit Mississippi. Sadly, his life was taken away on January 3, 2024.

Cody was his mother's only biological child and his father's only son. Throughout his short life, Cody faced many hardships. He had multiple major surgeries and  countless medical procedures. This was mostly due to complications from a congenital heart defect. However, he always seemed to approach these times with a sense of stoic bravery. Cody was courageous and big, but was also filled with love and compassion.

Cody loved his family. He was extremely close to his mother. He also enjoyed spending time with his aunt, his cousins and his friends. He loved gaming and music. He particularly loved coming up with his own freestyle lyrics.

Cody was proceeded in death by his paternal grandparents Doyle and Mary-Helen Gallagher, his maternal grandparents Carl and Thitus Cody, his father David Gallagher, a great uncle Ervin Cobb, and two uncles Tim Gallagher and Edward Mitchell.

He will be deeply missed by his mother Carla Gallagher, two older sisters, along with numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Due to a rapid decline in his mother's health and an ongoing investigation, there are no scheduled services at this time. Information regarding future services will be disclosed at a later date.
