Mr. Claude H. Wallace passed from this life at McComb Nursing & Rehabilitation Center March 29th, 2024. He was born in Jayess, MS on September 23rd, 1935. Mr. Wallace enjoyed fishing as much as any man on earth. When you saw him driving, spring, summer, fall or winter, I assure you, he had a fishing pole of some type in his truck. Along with his fishing pole, was his companion, "Fancy" his Fiest dog that rode on his toolbox everywhere he went.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Lee H. Wallace and Belle Wallace; two sisters, Vera M. Mullins and Freddie E. Ham and one brother, Rev. Emmitte L. Wallace.

Survivors are one son, Jerry L. Wallace of Summit, MS; daughter Cathy S. Wallace of Pearl, MS; Nell J. Rose of Meridian, MS; Bobbie S. Munns of Southaven, M and Lauren (Kiki) E. Fuller of Jayess, MS.

Visitation will be held at Sharkey funeral home in Summit, MS, Tuesday, April 2nd, 2024, from 9:00 A M until services at 11:30 A M. Reverend Jeffrey Conn & Reverend Bren Smith will officiate the service. A graveside service will immediately follow at the Roberts Memorial Cemetery outside Topeka Baptist Church, in Jayess, MS. Pallbearers will be Carlos Ard, Chris Oliver, Jack Conn, Jamie Allen, Tab Conn, and Taylor Leggett.
