Christopher Shane Jones, 49, of Summit, passed away, Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at his residence. He was born May 14, 1968 in McComb, MS. He was the son of Harold B. and Nora Dunaway Jones. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Kenner, LA.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Jones and his maternal grandparents, Clifton and Virginia Sojourner.

He is survived by his parents, Harold and Nora Jones of Summit; his daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer Brooke McNulty and Scott of Ponchatoula, LA; his brother and sister-in-law, Brandon Scott Jones and Kristen of Norco, LA; his granddaughter, Laila McNulty of Ponchatoula, LA; two aunts, Ada Nelson and husband, Lester of Tulsa, OK and Vivian Anthony of Amite, LA; two nephews, Brice Scott Jones and Kyle Vicknair and numerous cousins.

Visitation is Friday at Sharkey Funeral Home in Summit from 11AM until services at 12PM with Dr. David Millican officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn cemetery.
