Mrs. Christie E'Laine Wicker Hoots, 51, of Bogue Chitto passed from this life Wednesday, October 19, 2022, with her loving family by her side. She was born on December 5, 1970, in Natchez, MS to Carey Odell Wicker and Gloria Harvey Wicker.

Christie loved horses, fishing, cooking, taking her family on trips, and spending time with her family and friends. She was a truly amazing beautiful wife, mama, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend to anyone that needed one. She will be missed dearly.

She was preceded in death by her dad, maternal grandparents; Kirby Ford Harvey and Mary Helen Harvey; uncles, Paul Thomas Harvey, Randall Harvey, and Kenny Harvey; paternal grandparents, Rev. C.R. Wicker and Elaine Wicker; and uncle Lester.

She is survived by her husband, Tony Hoots of Bogue Chitto, MS; daughters, Brea Bales (Chris) and Kylie Pittman of Bogue Chitto, MS; sister Tina Price (Joe) of Summit, MS; brother, Carey Wayne Wicker (Becky) of Summit, MS; two grandchildren, Braiden and Braxton Bales of Bogue Chitto, MS; numerous nieces, nephews, uncles and aunts, great nieces, nephews, and cousins; and a good friend Sidney Pittman.

Pallbearers are Carey Wicker, Ryan Price, Caleb Bonson, Daniel Bonson, Chris Bales, and Blake Mcnease.

Honorary Pallbearers are Bobby Wicker, Brandon Tolar, and Braiden Bales.

A visitation will be held Sunday, October 23, at Sharkey Funeral Home beginning at 4PM until 7PM and will continue Monday, October 24 at 10AM until time of service at 11AM. A graveside service will immediately follow at Hollywood Cemetery in McComb, MS with Bro. Randy Burdeaux officiating.
