Obituary

Cheyenne Allisson Murray, 21, of Summit, MS, passed from this life on Monday, November 7, 2022 at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, MS.

Allisson was born in McComb, MS on October 9, 2001 and was the daughter of Raymond Murray and Brenda Phillips Murray. Allison was so smart. She graduated a year early from North Pike High School. She was true Christian and loved the Lord with her whole heart. She loved to encourage others on social media, especially TikTok. She had a passion for music and art and always had a dream of doing theatre. She always enjoyed helping with and being around small children, especially her nieces and nephew. Her family meant the world to her and she enjoyed being with them. In her passing, Allisson was able to give the miracle of life to others by organ donation. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her loving, shy spirit.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Danny Phillips and Audrey Sanford, and grandmother, Katherine Mahaffey.

She is survived by her parents, Raymond and Brenda Murray of Summit, MS; her grandparents, Phillip King and Mary Miller King, and Wayne and Linda Murray, and Fred Mahaffey; four brothers, Blake Murray, Cole Murray, Alan Murray, and Anthony Murray; two sisters, Alisha Murray and Ashley Murray; two nieces, Emma Murray, and Alaia Murray; one nephew, Brayden Murray, and a host of other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2022 from 10AM until time of service at 12PM at Tangipahoa Baptist Church in Summit, MS with Bro. Mike Morris and Bro. Joseph Ingram officiating and Sharkey Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. A burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Robin Phillips, Mark Phillips, Howard Phillips, Rainey Carr, Jason Thames, and Artie Faucett. Honorary Pallbearer will be Caden Dunaway.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Mississippi Baptist Medical Center as well as the staff of MORA for their efficient service to our family.
