CHARLIE STRINGER OBITUARY

Charlie Stringer (January 11, 1936 – January 13, 2023)

Charlie Stringer went to be with the Lord on January 13, 2023, surrounded by his family.

He will be laid to rest next to his wife of 50 years, Kathy, on Sunday, January 15, 2023.

He is survived by his children, Wanda, Colleen, Anthony, Vince, and Amanda, their spouses and

children, his brother Ted and his family, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Charlie loved God, his family, country, and community and served each of them loyally with

honor and dignity.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, January 15, 2023 from 2PM until time of service at 3:30PM at New Heights Baptist Church in Summit, MS with Bro. Rick Kennedy and Dr. Randy Burdeaux officiating and Sharkey Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. A burial will follow in the Hollywood Cemetery.

or the American Legion Post #0511. Both were dear to Charlie.

The family would like to thank the hospice team at Compassus and the wonderful ladies who

showed their daddy such tender care.
