Charley Daniel Johnson, 35, of Magnolia, MS, went to be with the Lord on May 15, 2021, at his residence. He is the son of Danny and Elaine Johnson.

Charley was an artist and he loved to oil paint. He was loved by all that knew him and he never met a stranger. He enjoyed his job at Simmons Security and loved working with Mr. Danny and Ms. Tracy. He enjoyed going to church at Immanuel Baptist Church where he was involved in Sunday school. He will be missed by all that knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by one sister, Amber Johnson and his grandparents, Rosco and Mary Johnson and E.C. and Mary Nell McDaniel.

He survived by his parents; one brother, Eric Johnson of McComb, MS; two uncles, J.B. Johnson of Magnolia, MS and Claude King and Rita of Magnolia, MS; one aunt, Gayle McDaniel; a longtime friend, Mark Wilkinson of Magnolia, MS and a host of cousins, family and friends.

Pallbearers are Eric Johnson, Mark Wilkinson, Jacob Fisher, Will Nunnery, Matthew Scott, and Justin Blades.

A visitation will be held at Immanuel Baptist Church on May 18, 2021 from 5PM to 8PM, with services on May 19, 2021 at 2PM. Bro. James Lawrence will officiate. Sharkey Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements.
