Charles Ray
Robinson
April 17, 1947 – January 26, 2019
Charles Ray 'Robbie' Robinson, III, 71, of McComb, passed away, Saturday, January 26, 2019 at his residence.
He was born April 17, 1947 in McComb, MS. He was the son of Charles Ray Robinson, Jr. and Mary Alice Stockman Robinson.Robbie grew up in St. Alphonsus Catholic Church and in 2010 he became a member of New Heights Baptist Church. Robbie loved the Lord and attending church was very important to him. As his health began to decline, Robbie could not attend church any longer, but his love for God and the church never declined and he continued to praise the Lord for all he had blessed him with. He worked at Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center in the Radiology Dept. for over 30 years. Robbie loved to fish, hunt and spend time with friends and family, and loved to watch his son, Tyler play baseball. He was full of life and did not take anything for granted. When someone spoke of Robbie, the first thing that came to mind was his compassion, love and fun to be around others. His family called him the best husband, father, pops, brother and friend anyone could have. He was known to many as 'The strongest man you will ever know'. He fought his illness to the bitter end and showed a lot of dignity.
