Charles "Chuck" Simmons Carruth Jr.

A resident of Summit, MS, Charles Carruth passed away at the age of 59 peacefully in his home. Born June 11, 1963 in Atlanta, GA, Chuck was an avid musician, artist and creator. Employed by Modern Mill in Magnolia, MS, Chuck worked in research and development and was passionate about his career.

Celebration of Life services will be held June 10, 2023 at 6:00 in the evening at 6135 County Line Road, Summit, MS.

The Family asks that friends and loved ones bring pictures and share memories and music.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to PALS Animal Shelter in Magnolia, MS.

Son of the late Charles S. Carruth Sr. and Marlene T. Carruth, Chuck is survived by his sister Carol and brother-in-law Dennis White; nephews Jesse Griffin, Jacob Griffin, and Austin White; niece Ashley Dew; aunts Mary Jo Young, Betty Jane Carruth and Becky Willoughby; uncle C.H. "Chris" Young; and many cousins, great nieces and nephews and his beloved dogs Elvis, Bella, and Jack.
