Mr. Charles R. Bunch, 72, of McComb, MS, passed from this life on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, at Southwest Regional Medical Center. He was born on May 3, 1954, in Laural, MS.

Graveside services will be held at a later date.

Charles was a simple, hardworking man who took pride in his work. He retired from the Mississippi Department of Transportation after years of dedicated service. He enjoyed the simple things in life and valued the people who meant the most to him. He will be remembered for his humble nature, quietness, and the lasting memories he leaves behind.

He is preceded in death by his parents, William Bunch SR. Johnnie Mae Madison Bunch.

He is survived by his brother, William J. Bunch JR. (Robin) of Brenham, TX; niece, Kari Mitchell (Jimmy) of Brenham, TX; nephew, Kris Bunch (Naomi) of Brenham, TX; great nephews, Ian and Zane Mitchell and Kyler Bunch of Brenham, TX.
