Cecelia Ann Smith Welch, 77, a resident of Osyka, MS was called home to Heaven on March 28, 2017. She is survived by her childhood sweetheart and husband since December 19, 1958, Alex Cramon Welch. The marriage produced two children, Denise Welch Fox married to Mark Fox and Ronnie Welch married to Rhee Martin Welch. Cecelia was a loving granny to her three grandchildren: Kellie and Kacie Fox and Shae Smith married to Kellie Case Smith. Cecelia was preceded in death by her parents Wiley B. Smith and Elmese Willson Smith and her only brother Thomas Byron Smith. She was a faithful member of Osyka Baptist Church. Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to Osyka Baptist Church New Building Fund, P. O. Box 152, Osyka, MS 39657. Visitation is Friday at Osyka Baptist Church from 5PM until 8PM and Saturday from 10AM until services at 11AM with Bro. Joe Weaver officiating. Burial will be at the Lea Cemetery in Gillsburg, MS. with Sharkey Funeral Home in Summit is in charge of arrangements.
