Catherine Joan Scott

Cathy was born March 7th, 1970.  It was a day of a total eclipse. She weighed 5 lbs and 13 ounces.  She was Beautiful Baby.  She is the beloved wife of John Daniel Scott of Jamestown, North Dakota and the Mother of Christopher David Moore and Casey Jordan Scott, Shane Scott and Joshua Scott.

She is a high School Graduate, and a Graduate of Minot State University, in Minot North Dakota.  She was a military "brat" and traveled the world

Cathy is a deeply faithful Woman of great Grace, and love for her family and those she meets along life's pathways.  She has served in the past as a member of different churches, teaching classes to young women and others.  In recent years she has been very active in Al-anon service having completed the 12 steps.  She has spoken at various round-ups and gatherings where she would tell her story about how she sought a way to live through the various trauma's in her life, and how she came through them, having peace and serenity.

Her Greatest Love was Jesus, and next to Him, was her devoted Husband John and her Sons.  She lived her life to make everyone else's easier, yet allowing them to live their own lives as well.

She is the Daughter of Mace and Lloyd Ann Caston, and the Sister of James Caston.  She has many Cousins, and was looking forward to spending time with them all here in MS.

Cathy had a T-shirt that says Always be kind, and SHE always was.

She loved her Tante Mary, and her Cousin Scott and wife Shannon .  Shannon was a dear friend who she loved dearly. She loved their children, and enjoyed time spent with all of them.

She loved her brother, Jim and talked on the phone with him when she could.  She is survived by all these people mentioned.  Many have passed before her and we know there is a huge party going on in heaven as they ran to greet her…

Cathy passed into eternity very quickly.  No pain, no suffering.  One minute she was on the phone with her hubby and her boys, laughing and talking and the next she was entering the gates of heaven.  To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.  And she is!
