Mrs. Carolyn Richardson Felder, 68, of Summit, MS, passed from this life on Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at her home surrounded by her family.

Mrs. Carolyn was born on September 17, 1951 and was the daughter of Clarence T. and Lucille Richardson. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She taught first grade for 33 years at McComb and North Pike School Districts. She loved all outdoor activities, 10 year Preschool Director for Felders Campground Meetings, Star Teacher of the Year for 2016-2017 North Pike School District, member of Delta Kappa Gamma, member of Felder United Methodist Church, attended High School in McComb, received a AA Degree from Southwest Community College and a Bachelors and Master's Degree of Education from University of Southern Miss.

She is preceded in death by her father, Clarence T. Richardson.

She is survived by her husband, Carl Felder; son, Josh Felder; mother, Lucille Richardson; two sisters, Jenny (Kenny) Jackson and Beverly (Wade) Deer; two grandchildren, Dravan Felder and Leland Felder; two nephews, Dennis Bass and Ricky Felder and their families; two nieces, Jenae Jackson and Julie Prejean and their families and a host of friends.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 24, 2020 at 10:00AM at Felders Campground Cemetery with Bro. Glen Martin and Dr. David Millican officiating.

Pallbearers will be Josh Felder, Ricky Felder, Dennis Bass, Kenny Jackson and Wade Deer.

In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made in Ms. Carolyn's name to Felders United Methodist Church:  1061 Campground Circle Summit, MS 39666.

Sharkey Funeral Home in Summit will be in charge of the arrangements.
