Mrs. Carey Dean Boyd, 86, of McComb, MS, passed from this life on Wednesday, February 15, 2023, at her residence with her loving family by her side. She was born on June 14, 1936 in Tylertown, MS, to Jessie Brumfield and Essie Mae Lee Brumfield.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially cooking Sunday dinners for them. She was often found working in her garden tending her flowers. She was a loving Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother.

She is preceded in death by her parents; one son, Kenneth Wayne Boyd; one daughter, Christie Lee Boyd; one sister, JoAnn Newcomb; and two brothers, Frank Brumfield and Madison Brumfield.

She is survived by her one son, Michael Boyd (Debbie); two brothers, Bill Brumfield and Wayne Brumfield (Terry); one grandchild, April Cutrer (Robert); one great grandchild, Raylin Cutrer; and a host of family and friends.

Pallbearers are Jason Mallette, Ferral Brumfield, Glen Sharp, Carl Linton, and William Pannell.

Honorary pallbearer is Raylin Cutrer.

A visitation will be held Saturday, February 25, 2023, beginning at 10AM until time of service at 12PM at Navilla Baptist Church. A graveside service will immediately follow at Navilla Baptist Church Cemetery with Bro. Trent Bilbo officiating and Sharkey Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
