Candiace Lynne McKenzie, 45 of Summit, MS passed away Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at the University Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi. She was born Friday, September 21, 1979 in McComb, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2024 from 9:00 am until 10:00 am at Sharkey Funeral Home at 1023 Old Brookhaven Road, Summit, Mississippi. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, November 02, 2024 at 10:30 am at Terry`s Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Magnolia, Mississippi.  Brigadier General Amos Phillip Parker will officiate with Sharkey Funeral Home charge of the services.

She was preceded in death by her father, Mark Slaton.

Survivors include her daughters, Bridget Philebar (Michael) and Amber  McKenzie;  mother, Lynne Young Ezell (David);  grandchildren, Nola Grace Philebar and Michael Philebar, Jr.;  brother, Brandon Slaton (Katie);  nieces, Kaston Slaton, Hallie Kate Slaton and Rylie Slaton.

Pallbearers will be David Ezell, Brandon Slaton, Max Slaton, Paul Young, Josh Young and Phillip Parker.
