Bucky L. Dunaway, 65, of McComb, MS passed from this life on February 6, 2022 at Southwest Regional Medical Center. He was the son of Jerry Walter Dunaway and Frances Dunaway.

Bucky loved to fish and loved the outdoors. He loved to watch TV, especially the old westerns, Sci-Fi movies, and wrestling. In his younger years, he liked to ride motorcycles and raising German Shepards. He loved spending time with his family and will be missed by all that knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his father; his wife, Carolyn Irene Dunaway; his grandmother, Lora G. Dunaway; his grandfather, Walter Leon Dunaway; one sister, Deborah Kemp and one step sister, Donna Purvis.

He is survived by his mother; one son William Leon Dunaway and Shelia Dunaway of McComb, MS, one grandson, Joshua Allen Dunaway; one granddaughter, Lori Michelle Dunaway; two step brothers, Lloyd Holloway and C.L. Holloway; one step sister, Claunette Holloway Esposito and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at 9AM till time of service at 11AM at Sharkey Funeral Home. Bro. Gregory Whitehead will officiate. Burial will be at Hollywood Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Joshua Blailock, Derrick Robinson, Joshua Dunaway, Lori Dunaway, William Dunaway and Jason Dunaway. Honorary Pallbearer will be J.R. Price and Roger Varnado.
