Mrs. Brenda Kay Gray Daix, 68, of Magnolia, MS, went to be with the Lord on Friday, December 3, 2021 at her residence.

She was born in Natchez, MS on June 1, 1953 and was the daughter Edward E. Gray and Frances Moak. She was an excellent seamstress. She loved the outdoors, fishing, gardening, especially her flower beds. She loved her family. Her kids, grandkids and friends meant the world to her. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death her parents, and two brothers, Billy Cash and Wayne Cash.

She is survived by her husband of 29 years, Eddie Daix of Magnolia, MS; two sons, Jamie Hamilton and Mandy of Magnolia, MS, and Joey Daix of Magnolia, MS; three daughters, Jennifer Daix of McComb, MS, Megan Daix of Jayess, MS, and Morgan Daix of McComb, MS; one sister, Sheryl Dunaway of Summit, MS; 14 grandchildren, Jonathon Hamilton and Charity, Kimberly Nunnery and Corey, Gracie Hamilton, Tyler Brown, Sadie Daix, Joseph Daix, Zoey Daix, Wyatt Runnels, Parker Daix, Tucker Malone, Hunter Martin, Samuel Martin, Garrett Martin, and Ethon Martin; 3 great-grandchildren, Hazel Hamilton, Anna Michael Hamilton, and Anistyn Nunnery; one very special best friend, Peggy Hodges, and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Stevie Yoas, Jonathon Hamilton, Corey Nunnery, Joey Daix, John Vanderwerf, and Randy Wall. Honorary pallbearers will be Hershel Jones and Maurice Williams.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, December 4, 2021 from 10AM until time of service at 11AM at Sharkey Funeral Home in Summit, MS with Bro. Dennis Walker officiating. A burial will follow in the East Union Baptist Church Cemetery in Magnolia, MS.
