Mrs. Bonnie L. Moak, 70, passed from this life on Sunday, October 1, 2017, at Diversicare of Brookhaven in Brookhaven, MS. She was born on January 1, 1947, in Troy, OH, to Kenneth and Nancy Elizabeth Woods Kennedy. She was a member of Montgomery Baptist Church; worked for many years as a beautician; and enjoyed crocheting, crossword puzzles and spending time with family and friends. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt and friend. Preceding her in death were her parents, Kenneth and Nancy Elizabeth Woods Kennedy; infant daughter, Melissia Dawn Moak; brother, Dean Kennedy; sister, Connie Weaver; 4 infant brothers; and 1 infant sister. Survivors are her husband of 48 years, Curtis "Ed" Moak; brother-in-law, Marion Weaver; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Visitation will be at Sharkey Funeral Home in Summit, MS, on Tuesday, October 3, 2017, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and will continue on Wednesday, October 4, 2017, from 10:00 AM until the services at 11:00 AM with Dr. David Millican officiating. The graveside service will follow in the Montogmery Cemetery. Sharkey Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Pallbearers are Calvin Moak, Gene Moak, Ellis Moak, Charles Moak, Jason Moak and Ervin Moak. Honorary pallbearer is Carroll Moak.
