Bobby Thomas, 83 of McComb, MS passed away Thursday, June 5, 2025 at the McComb Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in McComb, MS. He was born Sunday, May 3, 1942 in Peoria, Mississippi.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 8, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. until services at 2:00 p.m. at Robinson Baptist Church in Peoria. Burial will follow in Robinson Cemetery in Peoria, MS. Bro. David Millican will officiate. Sharkey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Bobby was a man whose life was richly defined by his unwavering Christian faith, his devotion to his family, and his unique artistic talent. Known affectionately by many as "the Pinstripe Man," Bobby left an indelible mark on the hearts of those who knew him, whether through his dedicated service to his church, his enduring love for his wife, or the intricate lines he meticulously applied to countless automobiles.
At the heart of Bobby's world was his beloved wife, Donna. For 55 years, they shared a bond that was a true testament to enduring love, partnership, and mutual respect. Their marriage was a bedrock of his life, a source of unwavering support and profound happiness for each other and their family. Together, they built a life filled with shared experiences, cherished memories, and a deep understanding that only decades of companionship can forge.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Vails Thomas; father, EJ Thomas; mother, Nonie Mae Porter Thomas; brothers, George Thomas and Jimmy Thomas; sisters, Laverne Thomas Edwards and Sue Boyd.
Survivors include his son, Christopher Thomas; daughter, Stacey Thomas of Magnolia, MS; grandchildren, Breland Alford (Courtney), Kole Alford, Kennedy Alford, Anne-Malone Thomas, Guy Thomas (Kristen), and Karson Thomas; sisters, Mary Lee Thomas Nation (Bobby) and Gina M Thomas Akers; great grandchildren, Dean Thomas and Kollins McKinney.
