Austin Blake Beard, 22, of Hattiesburg, MS, passed from this life on May 12, 2021, at his residence.

Blake was born in McComb, MS to Natasha Carona and Jacob Beard. Baseball was Blake's passion. He loved watching LSU Sports. Earlier in life he liked to Box. He loved the competition.

Blake loved spending time working on cars and learning to weld with his PePaw. Blake collected many things, especially coins and Pokemon cards. He loved to barter and trade with people, especially if it was a win for the home team.

He also enjoyed spending time with Gerald "trying" to learn to play guitar. Blake loved to fish and hunt and most importantly he loved to spend time with his family and friends. Blake was excited about life and was working on bigger and better things. He had big plans but God had bigger plans. He will forever be his momma's baby and our Guardian Angel.

He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Cindy Carona; and one great grandmother, Christine Nobles.

He is survived by his mother, Natasha Carona, father, Jake Beard; PePaw, Mike Carona; paternal grandmother, Dee Beard; aunt, Christy Carona; aunt, Kellie Beard;  Uncle and Aunt, Steve and Anita Hazlewood;  two special cousins, Tabetha " Tabba" Stinson,   and Will Hazlewood ; godfather, Gerald Delaney and a host of nieces, nephews, family, friends and, of course,  Da Bird Gang Crew.

Pallbearers will be Will Hazlewood, Chance Perry, Gerald Delaney, Christian Spencer, Michael "Phelps" Brumfield and Ernie Rodgers.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Noah Floyd and Brenen Stinson.

A visitation will be on May 17, 2021 from 5PM to 8PM at Sharkey Funeral Home where it will continue at 2PM on May 18, 2021 till his final farewell service at 4PM.  Graveside will be at Hollywood Cemetery.  Sharkey Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
