Betty Copelan Richardson, 71 of McComb, MS passed away Sunday, January 7, 2024 at the Walthall County General Hospital in Tylertown, MS. She was born Monday, July 7, 1952 in McComb, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 12, 2024 at First Pentecostal Church McComb, MS from 9:00 a.m. until Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. Sharkey Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.

She loved spending time with her family and spoiling her grandbabies. She loved truck driving and traveling. She had a love for trying new places to eat, cooking, crocheting and reading her bible. Most importantly she Loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

She was preceded in death by her father Rollin Copelan SR, mother Eva Nell Sharpling Copelan, two brothers Rollin Lamar Copelan JR and James Ray Copelan, and a son Edward Anderson Richardson.

Survivors include her daughters, Tabatha Norris (Clint) of Bogue Chitto, MS. and Shari Mason (Matt) of Fernwood, MS. Two grandchildren, Tera King (Joseph) and Copelan "Catch" Mason, and two great grandchildren, McKenna and Asher King. Along with a host of family and friends.
