Elizabeth "Betty" Lazarus, 86, of Summit, MS passed away Friday, March 22, 2024 at her residence. She was born Saturday, May 1, 1937 in Summit, Mississippi.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at 11:00 am, at Adams United Methodist Church Cemetery, Bro. Reggie Hope and Bro. Jonathan Tullos will officiate.  Sharkey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Elizabeth was generous and loving to all. She loved all her nieces and nephews. She looked forward to being with her Lord and Savior, with all her loved ones who are awaiting her arrival on Heaven's bright shore.

She was preceded in death by her beloved Ernest (Sonny) Lazarus, her father, Horace Coker; and mother, Ethel Worthy Coker, and her brothers and sister who were sorely missed.

Survivors include her son, David Lazarus of Nashville, TN and her daughter, Debra Lazarus of Summit, MS.
