Barbara Jean Lang, 73 of Summit, MS passed away Monday, April 7, 2025 at the Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center in McComb, MS. She was born Sunday, January 20, 1952 in Alabama.

Barbara was a devoted wife of 17 years, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. She was a dedicated employee of Walmart for 24 years and a faithful member of New Heights Baptist Church for 18 years. She found joy in planting flowers, feeding her hummingbirds and she also enjoyed crocheting. Barbara loved traveling and making memories on every vacation she went on.

She was preceded in death by her father, Horace Lennard, and mother, Beatrice Lennard.

Survivors include her husband, Johnny Lang of Summit, MS; daughters, Stephanie Holman Porter (Chris) and Crystal Holman Harvey (Anthony); step-sons, Ronald Lang (Crystal) and Bryant Lang; grandchildren, Seth Porter (Haley), Julianna Porter, Mackenzie Porter, Vivian Claire Porter, Cohen Harvey, Josh Lang, Shaun Lang, Chris Lang, Noah Lang, and Kimberly McCullough; brother, Jerry Lennard (Kathy); great grandchildren, Knox Porter, Levi McCullough, Ian McCullough, Amelia McCullough, Nevaeh Lang and Lucy Lang.
