Mr. Andy Andrews, beloved brother, 74, of McComb, MS, passed from this life on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at McComb Community Care Center. He was born in McComb, MS on April 15, 1952, to Julius C. Andrews and Nelline Smith Andrews.

A graveside service will be held at Thompson Cemetery in Smithdale, MS on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at 4:30 p.m. with Rev. Terry Ballard officiating. Sharkey Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.

Andy was a very kind and polite person who had a generous heart. He loved listening to country and gospel music. Andy had deep faith, a grateful heart, and a genuine love for the Lord. He deeply loved his family and cherished the time he spent with them. He will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, and the love he shared with everyone around him.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, William Larry Andrews and James Emmit Andrews.

He is survived by his brothers, Julius “Joe” Andrews Jr. (Dean) and Alvin Ray Andrews (Kay); sister, Gloria Dean Butrick (Michael).

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to McComb Community Care Center and Compassus Hospice.

Pallbearers are Shane Andrews, Devon Butrick, Chase Butrick and Chris Butrick.
