Adam Joseph Elliott, 75, formally from Westwego, LA, residing in McComb, MS, passed from this life on Thursday, April 2, 2020 at Beacham Memorial Hospital in Magnolia, MS.

"Pookie" was born June 21, 1945 in New Orleans, LA and was the son of Ben Joseph Elliot and Ida Martinez Elliot. He was a member of ST. Alphonsus Catholic Church in McComb, MS where he served as a 4 ^th Degree Knights of Columbus. He was a lifelong member of the Westwego Volunteer Fire Dept. He loved his family, friends, grandchildren and his godson and cherished each moment spent with them. He loved his country living and front porch swinging.

He is preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Ben Elliott and two sisters, Joyce Elliott and Eve Elliott.

He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Jacklyn Marcombe Elliott of McComb; his loving daughter, Angela Elliott Schott and Joshua of Fort Worth, TX; two grandchildren, "his pilot to be" Jared Paul Schott and "his princess" Jordan Danielle Schott; one godson, Ian Michael Ockman of Marerro, LA; his loving mother-in-law, Madeline Ann Ockman and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
