A. B. Alexander, 82 of Summit, MS passed away Friday, November 10, 2023 at  Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center in McComb, MS. He was born Monday, July 28, 1941 in Los Angeles, California.

Visitation will be held on  November 13, from 9:30 until 10:30 at Bogue Chitto Baptist Church Carters Creek. Graveside  services will follow on Monday, November 13, 2023 at Cothern Cemetery, Jayess, MS.  Bro. Jimmy Houston and Bro. Andrew Pittman will officiate.  Sharkey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

He was a life long member of Bogue Chitto Baptist Church (Carter's Creek). He was a kind hearted humble man that never met a stranger and would help anyone if he could. He thoroughly enjoyed the farm life. Being outdoors, gardening, fishing and spending time with his family is truly what made him happy. He always looked forward to spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren and getting to watch them play baseball.

He was preceded in death by his Father, Alton Alexander;  Mother, Julia Brent Alexander;  Sister, Opal Duncan.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia Alexander;  son, Mickey Alexander (Becky),  daughter, Vickie Vince;  brother, Gordon Alexander (Joyce),  grandchildren, Jennifer Bowers, C J Vince, Tyler Alexander (Allye)  and Preston Alexander;  great grandchildren, Taylor Bowers and Chase Bowers and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be : Robbie McCullough, David Alexander, Tim Smith, William McKinley, Phillip Coffey and Jeff Binder.
